The Client
Janado is a European eCommerce brand specializing in refurbished electronics, including smartphones, laptops, and accessories.
The platform focuses on making second-life devices accessible through transparent pricing, structured product grading, and reliable delivery across European markets.
The main challenge was to transform a complex refurbished inventory into a clear, trustworthy, and scalable online shopping experience.
Problem Space
Large-Scale Product Catalog Complexity
Thousands of refurbished devices required structured categorization, filtering, and consistent presentation across different product conditions.
Condition-Based Product Logic
Each product had different grades (A / B / C), requiring a transparent system to communicate quality, pricing differences, and expectations.
Trust in Refurbished Products
Users needed clarity and reassurance when buying second-hand electronics online, especially regarding warranty and condition.
Search & Discovery Limitations
Standard Shopify navigation was insufficient for handling complex filtering across device type, specs, price, and condition.
Scalability Constraints
The system needed to support continuous growth in SKU volume without degrading performance.

UX/UI Design
Designed a clean and intuitive interface for the online store and user dashboard. Focused on clear navigation, simple selling flows, and transparent status tracking for evaluations and shipments.
