The platform centers around a real artwork by Haylie Donin and transforms traditional NFT auctions into a strategic competition between two participant types: high-stake bidders (Whales) and collective micro-bidders (Shrimps)

Built a unique bidding model where Whales compete individually against a collective Shrimp pool

Implemented logic where Whale bids can be overtaken, updated, or reinstated based on market pressure and Shrimp accumulation
Collective Bidding System
Designed Shrimp bidding as a pooled system where multiple small contributions form a single competing force
NFT Marketplace Integration
Connected the platform with Ethereum blockchain and OpenSea API for NFT verification and asset management
Gamified Interaction Layer
Introduced animations and visual feedback to represent Whale vs Shrimp dynamics in real time
TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION
Defined rules for Whale and Shrimp behavior, including bidding limits, accumulation logic, and ownership transitions
Created a visual identity that reflects tension, competition, and hierarchy between user roles
Built a React.js-based interface for real-time bidding interaction and auction visualization
Implemented Ethereum smart contract interaction via Web3.js for secure and transparent bidding
Integrated OpenSea API for NFT listing, metadata handling, and asset verification
